Accurate measurements are essential to ensure your quote and final installation are as precise as possible. Even small measurement errors can lead to material shortages, delays, or design adjustments during the installation process.
Providing correct dimensions allows our team to:
Prepare accurate pricing and material quantities
Recommend the most suitable products for your space
Reduce revisions and avoid unnecessary delays
Ensure a smoother and more efficient installation process
If you are unsure about any measurements, do your best to provide approximate dimensions and note any uncertainties. Our team can review your information and guide you if further clarification is required. Here’s our measuring guide that can help you in the process.
Using a tape measure, measure each side of your deck in feet-inches.
Using a pen / pencil and a sheet of paper, roughly sketch the shape of your deck and include the measurements you took using a tape measure in the last step. Please include details like posts and steps.
Take pictures of the deck from different angles as shown in the reference pictures below. You should have about 8-10 photos. Click at least two pictures from inside the deck showing the edges and steps, one wide angle picture showing the entire deck attached to building, and one picture underneath the deck
Attach the measurements, drawing, blueprints (if any) and pictures of your deck along with the estimate request or directly to admin@saskatoondeckshop.com
